RB problems

Intro: (Skip if you are in a hurry)

I have done a lot in the last 4 days, I called off work to make some progress with the S14(s). Basically I have an S14 with an RB20 (in sig) and I bought another S14 with a blown KA. New one has a perfect body so I decided to swap over the RB. Pulled out the KA, pulled the RB, dropped in the RB, switched over exhaust, hooked up my new FMIC, changed the oil, and flushed the cooling system. I get in and turn the key...turns over but no luck. Hmmm....try it again and she fires up and dies. Turn over agian and she starts and runs....

Problem:

The RB is running with a little shake but other than that seems to be alright. I climb in the car and move the ecu a little and the car shudders, move it again and motor shuts off. Try to start and she will turn over but won't start up. Coincidence? Any suggestions? Oh, and the fuel in the tank is about a year old so I need to flush that but I wouldn't think that would be the problem.

Basically, I am curious why it shakes at idle, and why she won't start all the sudden.
