maf readings with it unplugged at idle:
12V is good
ground is good

i got my car to run with the maf plugged in now, it was my signal and ground wire that i had to make shorter. Now i still have a problem i think its still in limp mode because i can't rev past 2500rpm. I tried takin my neg lead off to reset my ecu, but didn't seem to work. Is there another way to reset the ecu.

HMM 7.36V at the MAF ground wire...doesn't that seem odd? I'm guessing your maf wiring is wrong or the MAF is shot. Double check the wiring diagram vs the harness in your car.

If you're ground has voltage, that means it's in contact with a power wire or you're just testing the wrong one..
You clear the codes by turning the screw on the ecu
