I have posted here before about getting RB parts for you guys? Well I have sold a total of 3 on ebay from here in Japan. I have to use EMS shipping(japan shipping) and it is a bit expensive. I sent a box just over 2kg and it cost 47.00 Learning this new info on shipping I wont be doing much more of that not being cost effective for the buyer. However If I come across any good deals I will still let you guys on here know about it. Its up to you guys if its a good enough deal to pay the shipping. Yes I could use the military post office but it is illegal to sell items and ship threw them. Some people have got cought and its not pretty so I will not do that. I have found container shipping info but being in the Military I dont have the funds to get a container and fill just lying around. Im still working on that but does not look good. I just wanted to post this becuase ther have been people who contacted me wanting to find stuff. Yes I can find it but what I have learned is with the shipping you can get better prices Oh and Okinawa sucks. If I need anything it has to come from mainland and they cahrge for that and the parts seem to cost more here. Just so you guys know if its under 2kg its not that much to ship but over and the price adds up.

I do have one thing left to get rid of a R33 mafs. ANyone need it 65+shippingand I do know where a couple of 32 harness's are.

If you guys need anything from Wes, dont hesitate to email him. Very good guy to deal with. Bought my power fc from him awhile back, and it went very smoothly.

Well for someone like yourself who has been here for most likely quite some time. It may not be the case. As for me and what I like and am used to it does. First lets start with I do know japan I spent 6 years in mainland and hear for a few months now. Now to the island, well the weather its just great if you like rain and humidity. Then it comes to what a place has to have for me to like it. Places to race and ease of performace parts. Performance and racing is my passion it is a must for me to survive and has been as long as I can remember. Comes from growing up around and racing stock cars. My life thrives around cars. Yes I know There is street racing here and 1 place they call a track, but I cant afford to get cought street racing to much to loose, as bad as I want to I won't and the track well its there but its not great. More on this island lets see, traffic, ****ty drivers speed limit due to traffic, stuff cost more than mainland. The island is nasty old and rather quite smells in allot of areas. The Okinawan people (yes Okinawan as they like to be refered to) are total differant from Mainland Japanese. The first and only thing I will cover on this one is customer service. Now to parts, non avaiblility has to be ordered from mainland, cost more and shipping which I get charged adds to it. Used parts: with this being a island junk yards are stripped faster than they get new cars in, then to used parts stores: even the ones I have been to one for example Up garage is crap here on island, small and not easy to deal with like any one of the many in main land. Yes I can compair them Becuase I just was at one in mainland. Look my wife is from mainland and does not even like this island And she thought she would love coming back to Japan after 5 years in the States. Now You asked why okinawa sucks and those are some of my quike thoughts of this place. Those views are mine. I know you have been here a while and probably love it here. Good for you. Thats how people are differant. Now this post was not about this but you asked. Different views I hope wont make hard feelings.

Haha I ****ing hate the place too for all the reasons you outline and more, just wanted to make sure your opinion was informed, it is. I have my sights set firmly on Tokyo in about 5-years. So why the hell have we not gotten together you antisocial bastard?

I have been really busy working on weekends and all that trash. maybe we could setup something soon. Oh and I was just up in the Tokyo area for a week(well atsugi close enough to drive though), It made me realize all the things I listed even more. Maybe we could meet up and have some food at bikkuri donky or something. You know I think I saw your wifes skyline there on day unless there are more like it here. Had the newman signature and everything unless oki has allot of these.

To the others out there sorry I went way off topic.

come on brother it's not bad at all when you get your car! Lots of stuff to see around that island. Quit being a damn barracks rat and hit the beach the coral reefs are beautiful. Also, don't hang around JUSCO too much cause there's nothing to do there. but drive to the northside of the island and spend the weekend up there. As for city life well damn you know where to go. Ohh and by the way between the junkyards and small garage shops find me a t3/t40e internal wastegate. Shouldn't be hard and the last turbo i got there was only 3500yen. A replacement for my r33 gtst. also stop buy super autobachs and pick up some SQUASH parfume for your car. ohh i love that jdm smell.

I have tried to recreate the cheese pocket steak but no matter how I do it the cheese runs out We should get together over some Donkey for sure, see if we can finish off a couple of theose big *** cokes it the trophy cups.

I am not a barraks rat. dont live in the BKS. I had a car 6 days here. I have been from side to side and to the bottom of the island. Headed north soon. This is just not for me some of the reasons are listed above there are many more but I will stop there thats not what the post was for. I have been to and know all the places you mentioned and like I said they do not compair to what is offered on mainland and the prices are higher. Anyway I have 2 years and 7months left to deal with this place so I will.

Cornloaf: yes I was refering to the RB20det harness I know of three as of last week if they are still there. 1 auto and 2 manual but 1 of the manuals may be a little cut up. If you want that contact me offline. I can check and get back to you.

Ah I wanna go! A friend of mine just got back earlier this year from Kyoto and he said it was the most amazing experience hes ever had. He said the highspeed train was awesome and had stories to last a week. I forget where he went but he had a picture of Tsuchiya's drift uniform and and whole bunch of other stuff. The Junkyards are amazing. They are like parking lots of malls here. His dad walked to the building and was like "Where are the cars at?" "Those looked like the staff's cars". Then he said he walked right by the skylines, turned around and said to his interperator "Look, a Skyline. That is what my son wants". And the only reason he knew it was a Skyline was because of the emblem on the back lol. He also said that the junkyards are damn cheap if you find the right people running them. He got a crx glass top for 40 dollars and stuck it in one of his dad containers lol. But then he'll goto the same junkyard with a diff person managing and they charged up the butt. Most definately a country I would love to visit....

Sorry, I still have to find some for my 240. All I see allot of now are the new clear and smoke style. Any way if I found some shipping would be a *****. most likely not worth it. However I have a used r33 FMIC with piping I was going to use but thinking twice now. If someone wanted to pay the shipping and at least what I paid for it. I thing its a Greddy or could be a blitz have to check. Its been in my trunk since I bought it a couple weeks ago. I am thinking 425 should cove the everthing. It is the kit that comes back in front of the motor on the cold pipe just liek the one in slo_240sx sig. Never installed it because I was waiting for a trunk battery kit.

How is your situation for sourcing Honda parts? B and K series. Any harder than finding Nissan parts?

I might be interested in a bunch of Honda stuff if you don't mind straying away from Nissan.

I'll be in Japan during the summer of 06.. can't wait.
