Ok I have an RB25 s2 in my 97 s14. I relocated the battery to the trunk. I dont have the maf hooked up yet (thanks to nasty harness/ignorance of wiring smarts) but everything else is hooked up. I installed a walbro fuel pump and when I went to try to start the guy I attempted to prime the pump but never heard it kick on. Ive tried quite a few times to listen for it to click on but nothing. Also, my fuel gauge now reads empty and before I put the walbro in it read fine-at about a little over 1/4 tank. So, I tried to start it anyway but I pulled a plug out and I cant smell any gas on it. Ive checked my grounds and fuses/relays and as far as I can tell everything is good. Im sure this problem has been posted a million times but Ive searched and cant really find good answers.

Any chance you reversed the wires on the fuel pump?

no the wires are connected right on the fuel pump. Ill pull it back out and look at it to see if anything went wrong.

instead of pulling out the pump, why don't you disconnect the harness and check for voltage at the connector? You should see a 12v at the connector when someone cycles the key from off to the "on" position.

It really could be a wiring issue leading to the pump.

ok ill try that first. My buddy thinks its just a problem of grounds but I dont see where that would be the issue. But, Im a noob at wiring. Hopefully well figure it out tomorrow

loost or dirty connections.

That would explain your resistance reading for the fuel tank sender being off and no power..
