So between everyone selling stuff off and natural progression... what's everyone's stance as of now with their projects?

How about some mod list updates and some power figure statements for everyone if you have them. Let us know how your power band is if you have some serious mods (upgraded turbo/manifolds/EMS etc)... don't forget to include boost pressures. Throw in some updated pics if you have them.

I wish I was making this thread b/c I had just done something, but mine's still in the turbo "on it's way out" state pushing a massive .4 bar. Luckily I picked up a new (to me) RB25 turbo to slap on at the end of Sept when I get back to the vehicle... she'll be on the road again before to long. Pics and mods are in the link in my signature.

So let's have it... what's your status???

rb26/96s14Fuel system: 16 galon cell with foam, areomotive a1000 pump, aremotive pressure regulator, steel braided line with feeds to both sides of the rail and a return, I still need to buy hks rail and 720 RC injectors.

My engine is still beeing worked on. I have je pistons .5mm overbore, carrillo rods, black coated bearings, arp mains/head/girtle bolts, Tomei 1.2mm full steel gaskit kit, knife edged crank, micro polished lower end, He still needs to blueprint/balance it with the giken twin plate then I will be ready to fab an oil pan for my morrosso dry sump, n1 water pump, hks 2510 turbos, Mines mass air sensors and dump pipes, apexi gt spec exhaust, apexi power fc with commander and boost controler, ati dampner, oil cooler/filter relocator, ported/polished/portmatched head with some other work done, giken clutch/TO bearing/fork/pivot/adjustable rod for slave/and a return spring and bracket to pull it back, nismo termistat, koyo rad, flexlite twin fans, rewireing for s14 done, rebuilt starter/impoved alternator, rb25 trans, big greddy front mount, blitz dd, cold side piping done hot side was done but I want to remove the stock pipeing and make a smoother equal length pipe(like the hks kit). I still need to buy cams, springs, retainers, Make a turbo manifold with a balance tube, parts to finish dry sump, 1 piece drive shaft, volk gt-p whells( I almost have enouf $) I need to order them soon as they take soo long to get, The set of toyo's that I want, Tein rs coils, miss suspeshion parts, nismo power brace, sequential shifter, nismo slave/hardline, apexi boost gauge, new oil feed lines to turbos with restrictors. I have an apexi decs tac, assortment of auto meter guages,

I want to move my engine 3/4 inces back on the monts so it gets better balance and so I can fit my oil pump in there better (Will be loads of work), make the inproved hot pipe for the intercooler, This will all happen this winter. I will get it running on stock ecu and injectors and break in the engine. Then I will have enouf $ by then to start buying all the parts listed above till it is a screaming 600hp beast at hopefully 18psi. I still have allot of long hours ahead of me at work to afford all the parts that I need. I guess it is a life long project for me. I always finding more parts that I want for it to add to the ever growing list. I dont feel like typing any more and I am shure i missed some I will try to add them some time.

not really due to the rb20's small size but i think its more due in part to untuned cams/exh leak/possible charge piping leak.i will try to dyno the car soon but the turbo is pretty insane on a rb20 if you dont mind a bit of lag and shifting at 8.

well heres the current mod list:hcr32 rb20det s2 enginetomei 260/8.8 cams in/exhgreddy adjustable pullies in/exhgarrett gt30r .63 exh arhks exh manifold and hks gate with 14 psi springrips custom intake mani (1st USA one w00t!)rc 550cc 7mgte injectorsspearco core fmichks race bov (sounds like a duck)greddy emanage and e-01 profecz32 maf (blowthru is awesome!)chipped ecu (tuned for z32 maf and 550cc injectors and other little bits )tomei overkill r32 gtr fuel pump (its louder than my car is)

right now i start to see boost round 3k-ish but dont see a proper full boost, which is why i think i have some intake leaks and exhaust leaks.its fairly safe to say that i see useable "good" boost round 4.5k or so and it pulls like a cut bastard to redline (currently set at 8.5k).i plan on boost testing the system again to see what i can find leak wise and if that turns out to be inconclusive then look at other potential problems.i want to dial in the cams a bit to see if they will improve spool time which is one of the main reasons i got them, but they do fix the 6.3k drop off that most rb20's ive seen have.

Might want to back the rev lim down to 8250 since I've heard that's the limit of the stock valvetrain from some aussie guys.

Other than that... sounds like a sweet setup bud! Go put her on the rollers!

How's the fitment of that HKS manifold and wastegate in there... tight or fits fine?

I wish I never bought it. The problem is still there, I think it's due to the ems poor ability to read the cas. The problem is wide spread through out the ems community. If my stock ecu and pfc can read the cas fine, and there are zero cases of the problem with other links, haltech, wolf 3d's then it's their fault.

lol, no redline is set at 8.5 but i usualy shift at 7.5k to be safe.the hks manifold fits pretty damn well, much much better than the stock one could ever hope to be.wastegate comes really close to the brake lines so brake fluid tends to get a bit toasty............proly will make some sheilding and custom lines to fix that problem.

I am running into a similar problems with the coils. Except mine mis-fire with anything over 19 psi . I am going to Bosch coils / and custom wires in the next few weeks. I think the OEM coils with the resistors and internal igniters have problesm working with StandAlone EMS's.

Yes, so with my Computer i need to figure out a way to run an igniter chip w/ the microtech harness and the Bosch coils.

im keeping my eye on it. ive started, but havent driven or tuned yet. i need to switch to series 1 ign.

just gotta install the wideband, then im hoping to not have this problem. s14drift has called them, id say do the same. kamin says aem has a real good tech support.

keep me updated
