rb lifter knock

rb lifter knock
i have a rb 20 that has a lifter/valvetrain knock. it doesn't make noise at idle only when reving about at 3400 to 5000 any tips/info would be helpful thanks

wel i dont think its a rod knock its not that hard of a knock oil is clean and the noise seems to be under the throttle body ill try to get a video but u may not be able to hear it

Hmm, injectors tick pretty loud sometimes. Try the old "long *** rod and a cup" stethoscope test. Good luck.

Lifter ticking is most noticeable at idle.
