RB/KA temp sensor... can anyone help

ok guys i made a stupid mistake i think.

instead of changing the KA temp sensor with the one wire to the RB, i changed the KA temp sensor with 2 wires to the RB. just a few minutes ago while i was searching for info on here, i found a thread saying you should only change the temp sensor with 1 wire (zerothread?id=103069)

how bad is that? do i need to change it back??

and also, will the gauges on my KA cluster not work if the ground wires are not yet grounded??

doesnt matter, the engine coolant temp sensors read the same for both engines, however the gauge one doesnt.
