I'm trying to decide what intake to go with... and I have a few questions:

-Are RB20 and RB25 intake manifolds interchangeable?-Does anyone make just the upper plentum? Do the 20 and 25 upper plentums interchange?

Has anyone ever tried this intake?http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...wItem

Thanks, Matt

You are correnct the RB20 and 25 have different intake ports so the manis are NOT interchangable.

RIPS is pretty much your only option or you can go custom mani.... I think there are a few ppl on here that make them.

I must say that this one looks alot better than the old one's I have seen. It really has velocity stacks in it. The real test us to look up the flange into the intake manifold and see if it's smooth on the inside without any major steps. I had a cheapy one before I got my rips and it had huge steps where they welded to the stock flange.

Also I don't think it comes with the throttle body so tell them you want one with the stock flange on it.

Yeah that ones been around for a while. Some Aussie shop has been selling them. It's like the Top Hat Upper Plenum but better though.Better contruction, no crap on the inside and nasty plasma cutter hole in it.the "ports" to the runners are holes instead of one large hole. (don't know if that matters or not)

Thats like mine

Bout to get a Greddy Unit tho. That other intake looked like It used the stock intake runners, so it would fit properly.

Yup I'm running the Top hat upper plenum. They don't make it anymore.

I dont' know if the RB25 and 20 upper plenums were the same.

nope the RB25 goes straight while the RB20 goes out near #5,6. I have no confidence in that tophat cover. You might as well just move the throttle body on your upper plenum to the front.

Yeah if your looking for Flow or power. This is not your option. This is a T-Body relocation move.

I have no idea if it flows any more or worse.I know it shortens the intake runners, so you will lose some low end but you will hopefully gain some up top. HOPEFULLY.
