I changing over to a S15 and junking the r33. The r33 is to freggin heavy of a car. I had a choice between: R32(to many of these running around), S13(again alot of these), 180(my friend has done it), and S15(not to many running around with rb's). I thinking of tube framing the car. If I do that I mine as well go with a solid rear end. Either way I changing cars. I will be using my enging that been rebuilding. The topic (side project). I think I will go with the GT42R an this one. I will be posting pics over the next few months. Just wonder what color paint to paint the car.

You won't tube it or put a solid rear in it.

why not. I got all(almost all) the stuff to do it. Its not like its hard to do or expensive to do. The ajustable linkages is whats going to cost the most.

IMO, unless your going neo rb25 or rb26, you will be better off with the sr in you s15.

Why do you think it has to be a NEO25, or a 26?

For a guy that runs eBay special turbos on his cars, I guarantee you won't do either.

Oh I sorry, was I soppose to buy a $2000 turbine to have fun and make over 530 rwhp with a complety stock engine. My bad. Next time I will buy a $700 intake, a $1000 manifold, $400 engine mounts, $500 in rubber and silcone hoses and tubing so that my engine bay looks fast and furious. Because I am not scared of blowing my engine, I have alot more fun in my car then most ppl. Oh yea Kjlindgr tell your mech or who ever is working your car, thats freggin an awsome job.

whoa... calm down there... most people do not do that for the "f&F" look... They do it because its quality and they arn't going to have to worry about it taking a **** on them.

Such as an ebay turbo blowing apart and ruining your motor. Or a cracking your SSACrap manifold, or peices of casting comming off your knock off greddy intake and ruining your valves... Or your ebay wastegate not opening and watching your piston enjoy some ring land failure...

Thats just wasted effort and work when it could have been done right the first time. Whats the point of dropping a couple thousand dollar motor into a car, investing all that time and energy to make it run if your going to put **** parts on it, that will just end up letting you down.

You might as well tune it with an auto meter air/fuel gauge and a SAFC, if its green its go yo!, Why not try to use the stock fuel system as well...

What I'm trying to say is cutting corners gets you no where. It might for a little in the end no.

good luck with your conversion if you do happen to do it. Don't take advice so critical. People are generally hear to help.

Not sure you could get him to admit to being able to anyway. Oh, and just so you know, the bolt for the serpentine belt tensioner is right hand threaded.

I was just being *** about the fast and furry. Not being serious. See my car is kinda of beater. It started out as joke to put the Ebay turbine on. We never thought it would do as good as it did. So then we decided to push the limits to see what a complete stock engine could do. Everything was under $2500 dallors to do. Was not planning going with top of the line stuff on purpose with this set up. Just tried to establish that you can have a relible 550 hp stock rb 25 for cheap. The only thing that came from ebay was the turbine. It advertised a T70. A closer look at it looks like a copy of a holsset turbine. But I recommend retighting the nut down with thread lock. The only thing new was the nismo 740s and the Greddy FMIC. The other stuff was fabed or came from Yahoo auction japan.

I know the shop this guy hangs out at and RB26'd Fairladies, tubbed RB25'd S14, and all kinds of stuff roll out of there on a regular basis. I don't think what he's planning is quite the pipe dream you think it is.

As for the ebay turbines, I don't run one, but when RB25's are littering junk yards all over Oki and they cost $200-$300 sans turbine, I'd take the chance for 500+rwhp. That set up, even in a heavy *** R33 scoots pretty good.
