Rb ignitor chip

I need to know if the ignitor chips i got are direct plug N play with a Rb20the part numbers read:22020-97e01



on carls write up you have to rewire the rb25but this plugs straight in. any help?

i dont think so, if i remember correctly the side that has the ground (on the rb ignitor) the ground is all the way on one side not in the middle as shown in your pics. i have series 2 but i think they are the same.

The ground on the series one is in the middle. The RB25 and VG30 share the same ignitor; and I believe the series 2 is different, due to using internal ignitors in the coils. If you have an external ignitor, you may have a series 1.

the updated ignitor is NOT plug and play for the rb20 you will need to rewire it else you'll fry the ecu/coils.
