RB harness to KA harness ????????????

I looked at a bunch of peoples cars and they said they did a RB harness to KA harness. How could somebody do that , I mean the ka has 4 injectors,4spark plugs, now how can u incorporate a RB harness that has 6 injectors,6 spark plugs to KA harnesss. I am just trying to find out what part of the harness do they connect to, do that. I havent been able to figure it out, and I ask alot of people and no one can give me a striaght anwser ? If it does work then is just connecting the RB sensors to the KA sensor wiring ? What RB harnesses does work with or can u do this to all the RB harnessES ?

i think you are misunderstanding, people use the KA lower harness (for engine bay fuse box and such) on the RB engines, just remove the knock sensor plugs and connect them to the main engine harness that goes to the ECU.

you cannot use a KA main harness for the actual ecu connection.

you cut the power supply and any chassis connections [AC, tach, ect] from the KA ecu harness at the ecu plug.

then you use the sheilded wires from the KA's MAF sensor, O2 sensor, to extend the RB's wiring.

then you install the RB wiring into the car, and connect the power wires, tach, AC, ect.

extend the MAF and O2 wires using the wires from the KA harness.

then connect the injector 12v supply from the 240's chassis harness to the RB's injectors.

not that hard at all. just look at the schematics for the two cars.
