RB gauge cluster and Speedo sensor

If anyone has one decided to use a RB cluster over the KA one... if you have your old KA trans laying around, I would greatly appreciate it if you would let me buy your speedo sensor off of you. The one in my trans decided it wasn't coming out, so it's staying in the trans.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Do you have the RB20 or RB25?

You can't use the KA speedo sensor on the 25 anyway (I'm pretty sure)...

Does anyone have a pic of what the speedo sensor looks like, and maybe info on which port it would go into on the RB20 block?? I pulled 4 sensors out of the KA24 trans and have no clue what any of them do :dunce

the sensor with the gear on the end is the speed sensor....whould have a long pigtail coming off witha small 2 wire plug on the end. It will go into the RB20 trans, not the block...same place you pulled it from. should be the lowest sensor and the farthest back on the passenger side of the trans. Closest to the driveshaft.

Sorry, I checked and I dont have any from the RB20 or KA....I sent the one away with my car amd the other with my old trans...

Sorry, don't mean to get off-topic, but.....I pulled these 4 sensors from my KA trans. They all look the same except for different wire colors, anyone know which one is the speed sensor??

nonethose are the reverse sensor and the 5th gear sensor.

the speed sensor HAS A GEAR ON THE END OF IT!

It also has a lon pigtail with a small 2 wire plug on the end.

So, I guess I'm lumping myself in with rbsileighty as someone who needs to buy a speedo sensor

(btw I read your earlier post, it just confused me because I *thought* I pulled all the sensors out of my KA trans and none of them fit that description at all...)
