i know this question isnt "RB specific", but i have an RB in an s14. my question is, how much can the stock fuel system support in terms of approximate horsepower? right now the S body has a 5/16 feed line, and 1 return of the same size. how much flow/pressure is considered safe with the s14's barbed hard line/rubber line system? right now all i have is the 290 lph supra tt fuel pump installed.

at what point (hp wise) would it be recommended to upgrade to an AN or flared type system? anyone running a sumped fuel tank, external pump, dual pump setup, dual feed lines, etc.? curious to know, thanks!

Well i had a fuel problem a while back. I am currently in the process of changing my entire fuel set-up. One pump , i had a walbro, 255, in tank, ( i had been using it for 3 yrs) It started giving out @ about high 47x hp. One walbro will be getting maxed @ around high 49x, Once you get up to about mid 45x + i would atleast go to an external pump set up and get some bigger feed line. If you want keep you stock return. Then again you can always go with a booster pump. Or something of that nature. It all depends on what type of injectors you have, what your fuel pressure is. It just varies, as when it comes to fuel set up there is a lot of variables. Type of gas your are running C16 93. etc In about a week i should have my car running again with the 12 Gallon Jegs Fuel cell, and a A1000 Pump.
