when a company sells a front clip they pretty much cut the car in half? so if you get a front clip you get all of the parts with nothing missing or no harness that are cut and stuff like that? This is what I was told by a guy who is selling clips on ebay and i was wondering if it is real true.

I guess potentially you could have stuff missing from your clip but the definition of a clip is the basically front half of a car. This often includes dash forward. Sometimes they include body panels brakes etc but often times not. The things you definately want are the ignitor chip, ECU, uncut harness, everything motorwise that you need, maf, intercooler etc. Make sure you have everything you need with compression and leak down tests done. I would be wary for ebay sellers but that is just me. I would rather be sure and go with a good company where you know you are getting a good motor that runs well with all the parts.~ANDREW~

You're correct as far as "half the car".. that's basically what it is.

The whole point of purchasing the clip is to get the whole 'complete' ordeal. However, you're not going to know for sure or not if there's a small missing part untill it arrives in your possession... so, try to remember that.

getting a clip also serves as protection for the engine as usualy it is off the ground and if there are any side impacts then the engine will be ok for the most part.i got a clip simply for the fact that i would have all i needed for a stock install and i also got the front brakes and a few other odds and ends.......
