Rb fitment

Hello i was wondering about what would happen if you use stock ka mount and member with and rb20 . Like does the transmission hit the firewall or it does not sit right. i just wanted a definite answer from someone who tried. i search but hard to find exact answer. not trying to be stupid or anything have not posted much at all just a lurker for a while now and getting as much info as i can before i do anything.

it wont fit. period.

the mounts on the rb25 are farther down and more forward than on ka.

i have the stock ka with my rb20. with custom mounts of course. dont like it. looks like my engine is on the end of a diving board.

edit-- oops mount and member,, ya not even close.
