might be some more ebay quality crap..

on a side note, it is not a RB manifold due to its bolt holes and its not a 7m motor has the turbo on the other side..

Funky stuff

Quick question????$550 is not enough to pay for a good quality manifold??Probably wont be the best performing in the world but.... I wouldn't expect SS Autocrap Quality though.(not talking about this or ebay mani's, but all around)

I think that there should be something in between the SS Autocrap and Full Race

$100 and..... $2,300

For $1,500 I can get a Custom Exhaust Manifold made.

for a cast manifold, yea thats more than enough

but not for a stainless steel tube top mount.

he said that was a 7m mani which is from mk3 poopra... ne way i agree with sil i would KILL for a good manifold that the masses could enjoy, i mean the whole rb scene in the US is basically people who cant afford a skyline (or for the better off they dont want one) but want the power, and some of the prices are ridiclous i mean its like cavier taste with a hamburger wallet...

A cast manifold would be fine.Only the HKS doesn't fit the S chassis X-member.

I'm not trying to get something crazy like one of those Full Race manifolds, for the $ I'm talking about.

But it's like I can either buy a Hyundai or a Mercedes.Where's the Toyota and Honda of Manifolds??

I don't want the best, I don't want the crappiest, I just want something middle of the road.

I know a lot of R&D went into the Full Race manifold (I hope still haven't seen any comparison dyno's from them).

But like I said before, you can have someone make a Custom manifold for your engine, in your car. Placed where you want it for half the price of the Full Race mani.

But I don't need anything extreme.

These below are from my old boss' supra.I believe it was 321 SS with Dual Burns collectors with the Down pipe and Screamer pipe.Made by Enzo at HeadertechThis manifold did not cost $2,400

Think about the % of mark-up on that Full Race mani. (not knocking it, he's gotta make his $$ and it's def a low volume item)

All I'm asking for is a reasonable manifold, I don't want anything Super duper incredible just something Good.

Also all I really need is something that fits and can mount an external WG to. I've found tons of good deal External WG turbos, but then that puts me into buying a new mani, because that Ebay Wastegate adapter pushes the turbo into the S13 Frame rail (at least on my friends S13/Rb20 custom mounts)Right now I'm looking for a good turbo T3/T4E Internally gated, with a 5 bolt Ford style flange.Because I'm not using this for a WG:

I say go custom for those who feel like they need a quality manifold and have a particular turbo / wastegate routing desire, as well as mount and clearance issues. Like it was said its gonna cost you to have what you want done with these motors. But it doesn't mean you have to pay for gold. $1300 is where your looking at to have a one off manifold fit to your desire.

Its like a custom made wool suit... alittle $$ but fits your own skin.

Well right now I'm rocking my ghetto X SS autocrap stock replacement manifold.

And I'm looking for a Internal WG turbo or a turbo with a 5 bolt Ford Style pattern, so I can use my ATP wastegate.

Until something comes along or my manifold cracks I'm just going to sit on it.If it cracks and nothing comes along, then I'm going back to stock.

Would anyone buy a Cast manifold that would fit the RB20/25 & 26 in a S Chassis (if it fits the S14/14 then it should also fit the R Chassis too, NO?) for $650-700??????

I think I'm going to post a poll for this.?.?.?

I spoke to Eric from XS engineering on FA and he said roughly (Pulled these #'s out of the air) it would be $650-700 and he would have to sell at least 500 units.

The mid grade tubular manifolds are cleaned up cheap mani's with turbo support struts, and a flex section in the downpipe. It works...
