I was looking at Venus Auto (http://www.venus-auto.com/inve...e.htm) page and saw that they had 2 diffrent looking RB25DETs. One was from an r33 and the other from r34. Now my question is can you use the r34 with mabey an r33 x member? Also is the r34 RB AWD?

the crossmembers are the same. the rb25det is RWD for both 33 and 34.

and the rb they have pictured for the r34 is the neo6, i belive its diffrent than what the regular r34gts-t comes with.

but i could be wrong about the last part.

from what I understand the NEO has top feed injectors and some kind of special timing system, you know what I mean... like honda VTEC does with cams, or VVT on newer silvias. From what I've heard the older ones are better for modding because the VVT isn't good fo rit, but I could be wrong about that.

well 93semax.. I knew that... I don't understand how either works... but I knew it wasn't like VTEC, I'd read that B4.. but I was just saying.. its some sort of tweak they run on the valve timing.. my mistake

It'd be the same probably or close to it... I know there was a yellow 240sx with a NEO rb25 in it for sale on Ebay like a month back. You;d have ot check with people who know something (unlike me ) to make sure it is a better platform than the older ones.. some reason I thought someone who'd know said it isn't

wiring would be a little more to do. and i'm not 100% sure on it but i think the revlimit is like 8k. and a few more horses. same thing as the blitz r34 that monkey drives.

Ok well I might do a little bit more searching around to find out about the NEO. Thanks everyone.
