I finally got my RB26 swapped Kouki running a short while back and finally decided to get some video. I compiled a little trailer that I hope I can expand into a short film over time. Hope you guys enjoy!

That's sweet man. I'm still torn between an RB or an SR but those aren't going to be for a while.

Both platforms are great. I still miss my sr20 but I can't say I'm complaining about the new setup. :)

Sweet vid love the background and atmosphere. Feels like a Nissan commercial but with some spice! Hopefully you will miss the SR20 soon with a RB26 lol. :chuckle:

Trust me, I am very happy with the new transplant! I think of the sr20 as a decrepit grandparent. I love em and will miss em but it's really just their time to go.

The camera is a canon 60d with a 50mm 1.4 lens and a go pro. Glad you guys enjoy the video!

Great video. The part where it shows the hood, and you're just driving down the road, was the best part. That's a great feeling, knowing you built the car, and now you're rewarded by having something that was exactly what you wanted.

How about some pictures? Do you really miss your SR? I wouldn't if I had an RB26

I miss the sr20 for the countless years of reliability and all of the fun I had with it. In no way am I trying to say the RB26 is inadequate. Trust me, I am enjoying the new child! I have a ton of work to take care of by Friday, but I will get some pics up soon.

Can't argue with that. Once I get out of college and have a decent income Ill be doing an Rb26 build If I have a REALLY decent income Ill be doing an RB30 build. Congrats on getting it running though. Ill be waiting for those pics

Sounds like you have some big plans for the future! I actually began my build my senior year of college due to some extremely lucky circumstances. I was ready to swap an sr20 into the car until I noticed a craigslist posting for an rb26, mounts, and accessories for the price of a sr20 swap. Keep your eyes peeled and opportunities will come your way. Good luck.
