Finally done! She is up and running around town. Minus a few inside problems the engine seems to be running good. Was running rich at first, but the adjusting the timing took care of that (you were right joe!) Im doing my break in miles right now so havent taken it above 3000. Sounds nice though. Cant wait to open her up.

If anyone can help though, my power windows and sunroof arent working. if anyone has some ideas? (all the stuff in the door panels have been changed, just not getting power to them)

Anyways heres some pics. This coming weekend my cars gonna get a full detail so dont mind the dirt.

very nice, are you using a Front mount with both outlets on the driver side? if so where did you get it?

Thanks. The intercooler has its outlets on both ends. I actually had to run the piping in front of the intercooler near the bottom. I was hoping to run it underneath but its a pretty big intercooler. I was trying to find another route. My SR koyo radiator prevents an over the top. I figure this will work for now till I can change out the intake manifold.

I see from the pic that you are using the koyo for the SR instead of the KA as you stated above. Does that mean you have a spliced hose and extension to reach the passenger side inlet?I am with you on the intake, lot of $$did you get custom piping for the IC?I am in the market for a FM for my RB25/S13 and I am just trying to get some ideas. I know mckinney had a kit for about 1k with piping but there site says they are out :(

RB25. THE RB20 FRONT COVERS SAY RB20 ON IT.

HEY WHO DID YOUR PIPING?

I did it. Was planning on welding, but the welder I borrowed was crap (harbor freight). So I just got U bends at a shop, straight pipe, and 3 feet of silicone hose. Just used the chop saw and instead of welds used couplings.

Welds might look a little better, but using couplings made it much easier and forgiving. (i.e when my measurements were a bit off the couplings gave a bit movement)

NISMO_RB25: I forgot who, but if your using the stock radiator I think you use the skylines IC piping kit. It goes over the top. Someone on here posted it awhile back. I know you can find those hybrid full kits on ebay for like 800.

nice...another S14 with an RB. and now the fight for who can do what next begins. I of course...still do not have a front mount. i'm gonna need to get one soon though. What kind of bost are you hitting with the big intercooler?

How's the throttle response with the intercooler piping that way? I want to go with an FMIC soon without having to buy a new intake manifold, but I was worried the lag would be worse with the extra couple feet of IC piping I'd need to run to the other side of the car.

You sure about that? The RB20 out of an awd skyline i just picked up doesnt say rb20 on the front cover and doesnt say nissan 2000 on the coilpack cover.

i like how they wrote "slyline" on the intake manifold...in case there was any question as to whether or not it was an integra type R motor.

forgot the specs, but the intercooler is pretty big. the bumper had to be cut (mainly for the piping). but i also have no bumper support. that was a pain to cut off.

THATS DEFINATELY A RB20 BY THE DESIGN OF THE INTAKE RUNNERS, THATS SURPRISING THAT THE CAM COVER IS DIFFERENT. I KNOW THE R31 RB20, SOME HAD OR SOME DIDN'T BUT THOSE CAN BE DISTINGUISHED BY THE VALVE COVER DESIGN.

WELL FROM THE CAM COVER DESIGN ON THE ORIGINAL POSTERS ENGINE I CAN TELL YOU THAT IT IS A RB25.

HERE IS ANOTHER METHOD OF CHECKING THE ENGINE: THE RB20 INTAKE RUNNERS HAVE THE FIRST 4 INLINE AND THE LAST 2 STAGGERD, THE RB25 HAS ALL SIX INLINE.

RB20: OOOO OO

RB25: OOOOOO

not to sure about the lag. id assume so. im getting a boost gauge today. im having some problems with my engine right now that we're trying to work out. but if seen some aussie skylines routed the same way also.

Maybe a stupid thought but...

Jamison, is that a RB20DE (non turbo)?? Maybe thats why it doesnt say RB20 on the front.
