RB bolt patterns?? Meggala???

do all RB engines have the same bolt patterns for instinst(sp?) like the RB25 and the RB30?

PS i thinking of doing a RB30DET project in a S13 and doing so research

Also is this any wiring schematics for the RB30, or is the electrical simialer, this is proably another question for meggala

i also know that the RB30 sit high on the S13, read it somewhere on this forum, hopefully the mount and a little cutting could fix it but if it cant then i proably have to think about buying a intake plenum from greddy, i thinking about do this project, but i need to research more..

Does anyone know if the Rb30 engine can be bolted to a RB25 transmission???

the rb30 is a single cam motor forget it unless you bolt an rb25 to it but the question would then be why. ecu cant be tuned atm.the front of the cam timing cover hits unless mckimmey has dropped it lower. rb30 can be bolt to rb 25 trann np.cheersmeggala

i want a RB30DET because it is rare, also no replacement for displacement. I am hoping that is respond very will with mods. I figure that a supra engine responds much better to mod because it has more displacement then a skyline engine

if you want the det thats different get your self a power fc for tuning then I think there is a replacment for displacement its called revs you can fit rb 26 internals to an rb25 and lots of other tricks 600-700 is very doablecheers

hahaha yeah yur lost so I wouldnt even conside the rb 30 conversion .the power fc is a tunable ecu so you can tuning it to your engine and turbo combo

Oh! power fc tuning is hard or do you need experience to tuning or just a computer with some type of manual???

You need a dyno with a wide band O2 sensor. Try getting a RB25 clip and giving the block to a machine shop and have them make a stroker kit for it. Should be around 2 grand with custom forged rods.

i was reading on power fc and couldnt find the anything for a RB30 except for RB25 and RB26, if i were to get a power fc what should get to program the ecu RB25 or RB26??

idf ou use an rb 25 head you use the rb25 power fc if you use rb 26 head you use rb 26 power fc

well the rb 26 head has sodium filled valves and solid lifter cams.

Our Kit get you as low as possible less than 1/4 inch clearance on the oil pan. With the GReddy intake you will have plenty of room. We have 4 in to the strut bar and the RB30/RB25 combo is about 1 inch taller I believe...

i have another question for meggala i thinking about the oil pan, if the oil pan is different then the mount would be useless so are the RB30 oil pan the same or simiar as the RB25???
