Hi folks,

I'm from switzerland. Please excuse me for my mistakes, because english isn't my native language

Anyway my question:Has anyone already build up an RB based normaly aspirated engine. The engine should have around 280 - 320 BHP. What is possible and where are the biggest steps problems to pass?

More specific? Displacement? RB20/25/26/30? I've seen N/A rb30de build ups before.. N/a rb's are like arnold swarzenegger without muscles.

I thought about 2.6 - 3.0L.Is there a better engine to base to build an N/A Engine? SR20DET + Tomei internals?

A VQ35 series engine will be your best bet for NA

or the vh45de.. your gonna need some displacement for a good N/A car.. unless you plan on running a nice shot of the laughing gas.

You'll want to start with a RB30 for sure... as displacement is going to be your biggest asset with an NA RB... address cams/compression/intake & exhaust manifolds as breathing will be crucial... my opinion anyway

Hi,

I read that the RB25DE(T) is the better base to build a high perf. engine. What about stroking an RB25 to an RB28, so I'll stay with the RB25 Head.

Any opinions?
