NOT HARD IF YOU HAVE ALL THE LENGTHS AND EVERYTHING NEEDED, YOU SHOULD ALSO CONVERT TO R134A AT THE SAME TIME, I'M PRETTY SURE YOU CAN SPLICE THE RB CONNECTORS ONTO THE KA HARNESS ALSO. YOU ALSO NEED TO GET A FAN WITH AN A/C OVER-RIDE SWITCH.

If I send my harness to say, STM, and they don't wire for AC, can I modify the harness myself aftewards? Or maybe test the pinouts myself so the people doing the wiring don't have to...?

R134A: ALL YOU NEED IS THE OIL, FITTINGS, AND FREON.THE FITTINGS SHOULD ALMOST ALL BE THE SAME BUT SOMETIMES THEY ARE DIFFERENT BETWEEN FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC VEHICLES.

THE A/C OVERRIDE SWITCH IS JUST A SWITCH THAT WHEN THE A/C IS ON THE ELECTRIC FANS COMES ON AUTOMATICALLY AND STAY ON FOR THE DURATION OF THE A/C USE.

I have one question for you. The compressor itself, can we use the KA's compressor, or any other compressor that is stateside like a 300ZX's, or is the RB's compressor only made for/will fit the RB25?

I'M NOT SURE ABOUT THE COMPRESSORS AS I HAVE NOT TRIED IT BECAUSE I SEE NO NEED FOR A/C. BUT AS WITH MOST OF NISSANS PRODUCTS THERE ARE SOME UNIVERSAL THINGS. WHAT I CAN DO IS TRY AND FIND MY KA SOHC COMPRESSOR AND SEE IF IT MATES UP TO MY RB25DE THIS WEEKEND.

As far as I know, the only things you really need to worry about when it comes to AC is how to mate the lines and the plug that goes to the clutch to turn it on and off.
