rb-26 swap question

okay im still a newbian to nico and ive been wondering if it matters what year motor i put in my 240. weather it is a 93 + rb26 or an 89-93 rb. lemme know. and if you dont mind, give me ur input on a rb-25 vs. a rb-26, where u got yours from and how much much appreciated
