I don't know much about RB's (other than they ade bad azz!)but I have been setting up meets for a while. The ones that I have seen work out the best are not limited to one type of car or motor. You should set something up and invite anyone and everyone.Check out the sept 6th meet write up and pics thread in the meets section. We had VQ's,QR's,turbo and non turbo SR's,turbo and non turbo KA's and so much more. ;)

GREAT IDEA!!!

I think that would be great Night!!!!

Do you think we should also open it up to other 240's or try to keep it mainly RB ones? I can try to get GRIP VIDEO to come out and call some other people I know in the Mag side to cover the event. That is if it is OK with everyone.

Night, just let me know the dates and I'll see what I can do.

Again, Great idea Night.

I don't want it to become a Mckinney vs Night thing. I (we)am staying out of that part, thats up to Hashiriya. Thats his race.... not mine. Who knows, a car might come out that we never new and kick everyones asses.

Anyway, if you want to stay all RB thats cool too. I'll see what I can do about the coverage and I'll get back to you on it off-line. As for the timeframe, just let me know when. But don't try to rush because of your car. Hate to see anything break because of this meet.

Good luck on your car, hope everything works out.

i could care less whos car is faster, im much more interested in meeting other rb240 owners and checking out their work.

speed costs money, whoever invests the most will win. so just because X company is faster, dosent mean they are any better.

and lets shoot for end of october (20th+), should be nice and cool here in AZ. also give a lot of time to get the word out.

It would be cool to have a secular event for RB's....RB20's, RB25's, RB26's....whoever wants to come. Press coverage would be a cool thing...maybe we can hit up a road course down here and make a "mock" Option Video.

How about a any and all RB powered cars meet? There would be all sorts of crazy stuff then. Old Z's, 240's, Skylines, it'd be awesome

You guys sure just RBs? Dont we have a good amount of 240 owners down here? Wouldn't it sort of be wrong not to invite them or tell them they can't come? ...well its your guys thing, up to you.

musicsurfman, you starting your own company?....sweet, hopefully you can get us all the RB parts we need :pface

Ok Night just because I know the guys at Mckinneys does not mean I am doing this for them. Lets not spread that around. You and I have sent e-mails back and forth and I have stated why I have went about this. It is me and you for the race. Not shop against shop its me and you. Anyway The reason this kinda turned into a RB240 meet is because it started over some things between Night and myself and both of us having The RB. Some others wnated to attend so Night and myself thought it would be nice to turn the whole thing into a RB meet if enough wanted to attend. But we cant controll who will be there but I think the main focus will be on RB240's and owners. When and where is yet to be decided but Vegas would be cool since I never have been there and there is pleanty to do I hear. Oh and night about the NOS, I wont have it dont like it. Just Boost lots of it:) Anyway does anyone know what time requires a cage? I know that some tracks require differant things for the times that you run. So where ever we do this the rules will have to be put out for that track. Would hate for people to show up and not be able to race.

I believe Hashi, that anything under 11 seconds requires a cage, second.. I would LOVE to attend this I just have to get my RB in time so thats on Night more than myself but form the looks of it I think might have it going in time.

I've only been to Vegas once, (last april) I thought it was pretty nice.. the strip felt like an amusement park but it could be fun to go again.. though I doubt this RB meet will end up there.

I think it would be a shame to keep this to JUST RB powered cars, especially since there are alot of people who would love to take a good look at the swap before they actually attempt it themselves. It would also be a good chance for people to compare the different mount kits etc. which would benefit those who have yet to do the swap. I would love to go, I have no intention of matching up on the strip with anyone, but I would love to come just to look and talk.

yes I agree with Gabossie, it should be open to 240sx... open to anything other than an N/A engine... This would be a great way for people to judge power differences and choose whats right for them, this meet would, after all be a club event right? and a club event shouldn't be a sales pitch for RBs... so why not make it open to anyone who is NOT n/a since we know those couldn't compete /w basically anything .. maybe a stock CA18... maybe.

no offense intended for you N/A power guys. Also although I'm sure it was obvious.. I believe turbocharged Ka's would cound as (duh) turbocharged.. so they should be included...(duh, not sure why I posted this one..)

Hmm I'd love to come to this meet, but we'll have to see. The drive would be around 1800 miles for me, which would take a few days I imagine. If I can't bring the car I may try and fly out there. I really want to bring the 240 though and see how it runs against other RBs :D

Like I said in my last post anyone can go, we cant stop anyone from coming. Its just that it will be focused on RB's as center of attention I guess you could say. If others want to attend I dont have a problem with it.
