RB 20 DET problems

i recently bought a RB20DET set for my 240sx but now as i am on my very last step to my motor swap, going thought the wiring. i realized that the pins that are not suppost to be there are there and the ones that supoost to be there arent i do know my harnerss and ECU are out of a RB25DE now i was told that this harness and ec u wopuld work now if it would work whats the problem because i feel its wrong
