Its been awhile since i updated. Some good stuff has been going on with the car. I ordered and installed all of my energy suspension bushings including the rear sub frame bushings. I also installed my z32 aluminum knuckles along with some Stance Gr+ Pro's and Stance ruca/ toe arms. Along with all that i also through on some tein tie rods.

The sub frame bushing do allow for more diff whine to be heard but its nothing terrible and overall worth it considering my car doesn't feel like its floating on the freeway after install.

I thought I was going to get a bunch on noise from the heim joints in the adjustable arms but I didn't notice any difference. The coilovers are definitely stiff but they don't bounce at all and the car handles insane compared to my 190k stock suspension. I still wish I could have gone with some LX+'s but apparently you cant get them with z32 lower mounts?

Alright guys i need a little help. I finally figured out whats been making this noise coming from the gas tank. While I was under it working the other day it started to make the noise I felt around until I figured out the noise was coming from this little plastic thing with a fuel line running to the gas tank. I did some research and found out it is a fuel check valve for the carbon canister. I removed my carbon canister when I did my sr swap...

So my question is should I spend the $30+ bucks to buy a new one even though I don't have a carbon canister. Or can i cap off the fitting on the gas tank where this whole assembly begins and just remove it without causing any problems?

From what I remember being told the charcoal canister can actually be good to have. It collects vapor from the fuel, which can be harmful to the environment and sends it to your engine to be burnt (if plumbing is in place). So, it might give you a bit better gas mileage and it will definitely help the environment, but I don't know if it does it well enough to be worth the $30. :gotme

Ive never heard of it giving better gas mileage, Im pretty sure there prone to hurting performance only because they malfunction and or cause vacum leaks and other problems. But my sr didnt come with any of the proper parts to install a carcoal canister and I alread cut the hard line for it to clean up the engine bay. But thank you for your input its more than I normaly get...

The gas mileage increase is most likely an unnoticeable amount. The charcoal traps vapor from the gas tank (to keep it from venting to the atmosphere) and when you turn your engine on some of it is sucked out of the charcoal and burnt in the engine.
