I've been talking to Ricky at rawbrokerage for awhile about doing a little turbo setup. He was able to help out with setting me up with a nice budget kit that came out awesome. He modified the stock manifold for a 3076r and tial ms-v wastegate for me and then had everything ceramic coated silver. This is the first time i've ever let a shop do work on any of my cars and i dont regret it one bit. Flawless work and amazing customer service with keeping me informed every step of the way. Thanks again Ricky and the rest of the guys at rawbrokerage. :bigthumb: The cell phone pics arnt the best to show off how nice this kit came out.

For those interested i believe Ricky is working on making this into a bolt on kit package that Rawbrokerage will be offering.

Still waiting for upgraded injectors and my rom tune before I really get on it. But so far there hasnt been any problems or driveability issues with it yet. Hoping to get get those things ordered this week so I can really have some fun with it. I have noticed that the under hood temps went down a lot with the cermic coating which im very happy with.

That looks awesome, should work great! Are you going to make a heat shield for the bmc?

It can be on either side of the ic or both sides if you want.

I might make a heat shield if i find some extra time.

The injectors just came in today and my rom tune from enthalpy should be here before the weekend for me to test out the setup.

Awesome looking ! I plan on doing the same thing but with a Holset, Ive been meaning to shoot Ricky an email asking if parts of their kit will be available for separate sale

Ive also have been planning to go with 26 covers due to the sexiness and the vents being in the rear. Make it look like another member on here(cant remember his screen name at the moment but the motor is in a R32), he did a great job shaving the 6 to a 5 but I want retain the intake timing ability, which Ive only seen done on your car and a car that was featured in a magazine a while ago. Would you care to share you technique for cutting the hole in the front timing cover to clear the cam timing device? like, how did you measure to cut it and have nice clearances. More pics of the Raw kit and rb26 cover job would be awesome

The front timing cover is really simple. On the back of the cover there's webbing and a circle that happens to be in the exact spot as the intake VCT gear. I just drilled out that circle and with some fitting and trimming it fit perfect. You have to trim the backing plate behind the cam gears a bit and notch a lower part of the cover to clear greddy style intake manifolds. It takes a bit of time but it's not hard to do at all. I also notched the 6 into a 5 as well. I got the idea off the member here you mentioned. I'll try to get some more pics when I have time.

Just another picture to show how clean this kit is installed. Seriously the best bang for your buck manifold option.

Well sorry for no updates guys. I was planning on going for a dyno tune next week but cylinder 3 gave out on me at a redlight somehow. Might have been from the boost spikes the day before when the wastegate vacuum source blew off or the mail in tune being off. Going to pick up another shortblock from RawBrokerage friday.

Bad news man, need to get an overboost protection or something for that. Overboosting, loosing fuel pressure and oil pressure are my biggest fears while WOT...

Yeah i didnt know what to expect with the new setup and it happened on the first pull. It took a few pulls to realize the waste gate line had blown off. After that it started having a slight miss(im guessing thats what hurt the motor) then a couple days later it just gave out while sitting at a redlight. Sucks but i've already got another bottom end lined up to go in the car this weekend.

That looks pretty clean, I like it.. however I wish they Did a budget topmount for those of us that don't have 1500 bucks for a manifold..
