I don't know if it's the type of clutch I have, but I have a OS Giken super single clutch/flywheel. When the clutch pedal is pushed in, it makes a rattling noise. Everything seems to work fine except for the noise. From a little research, I read that the multi-plate discs rattles when the pressure plate is released, but this one is suppose to be a single plate.

thats is wierd. When the pedal is not push down in neutral its either the t/o bearing or the clutches on twin disc. But for u its doing the opposite. Is this while driving or sitting still?

This happens mainly when I'm at a standstill. I've only test drove the car once. I don't remember hearing it while I was driving.

I could put up with it. I'm just tired of the constant, "What's that noise?", "What's wrong with your car?"

Another question for those of you with OS Giken or similar type clutch/flywheels. Was it a PITA to drive around town. I feel like I'm learning to drive stick all over again. The most aggressive clutch I've had before this was a Exedy stage 2 but that thing drove like OEM. I'm getting more and more used to it but man I feel like an idiot.

get nismo slave, suppose to give u a easier pedal. I would get one but cost way to much. Or u can adjust your pushrod out so u don't have to press the pedal all the way down

No, the pedal stiffness doesn't bother me. The clutch grabs really hard and the lighter flywheel drops in rpm pretty quickly. It's kind of tricky, but I'm getting the hang of it.

typically with any unsprung plate you'll have that rattling noise, i have it with my blitz clutch too, at first i was worried, but its been rattling for over 2 years now with no problems

unsprung plates also grab a whole lot harder, once you get used to it it's no problem, but it does take some gettign used to
