Hey guys,

I'm new here and I'm currently stationed in japan. 2 days ago I bought a 1989 skyline GT-R. As I was driving today a rattling noise started coming from the engine and I have no clue what it could be. The noise is constant and doesn't change when I rev up or just drive normally. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thank you.

Some bearing took a s***. Check power steering. Make sure you cross that off the list. Then you could pull the belts one at a time and see if it goes away. If not there, then the front of the engine, there is a tensioner and idler bearing. They go bad and sound pretty nasty.
