My Plate rattled when I shut the trunk and I got a little piece of sound deadener from the install boys at Best Buy (free) and put it on the back. Problem sloved!

Same thing ... took my plate off & sandwiched foam tape between the frame & plate & also applied some between the plate & trunk. No rattles.

Step 1. Go to your local shop.Step 2. Give them $5 for half a sheet of dynamat.Step 3. Cut to form.Step 4. Place license plate face down, place dynamat on top, beat with rubber hammer to form.Step 5. Tape dynamat to license plate. (Don't use any glues, or the state will get pissy when it expires.)Step 6. Screw back into place.
