Rattling coming from under my hood of 98 Pathfinder

I have this rattling noise that is coming from near my engine. The noise is loudest in the morning from a cold start. When the car is moving you do not get the noise, but as soon as I stop at a light I hear the rattling. IT sounds like it could be coming from behind the dashboard. If I put the car in neutral when stopped the noise will go away. As soon as I put car in drive it will come back. I can not seem to locate the origin of this noise. I am hoping that someone on this forum may have had a similar situation. Please respond if you have.
