Rattles from the main compartment above shifter!

Hey all,

Ive recently been hearing a rattle from just above my shifter. When i push or hold down the plastic console, it goes away. I noticed that there is a small hole that could fit a screw driver to open up the plastic, but i am reluctant to just pry it open. Anyone have any experience opening up the plastic near the shifter/center console?
