rattle??

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

2008ex with 55k on the clock and now I have a rattle/noise that is prevalent during initial drive away. I honestly can't tell where is is coming from but it seems to emanate from the chassis at front of car. Any ideas?

Thx,
Mike

Care to share more info?

High or low pitched? Sharp or dull/damped sound? Is it tied to any actions of the vehicle (i.e. rpm, bumps, etc.)?

Sounds like an undercarriage rattle and is consistently present on rough roads.??? Next oil change I'll have the tech check for loose fittings. Driver & passenger hear the same noise. ???

Hopefully the tech is really thorough, or is aware of common causes of undercarriage rattling.

I hope you can get to the bottom of this. If you find out the cause, please let us know what it was.
