Mine is not the storage area itself, but actually in the headliner around the map lights. I'll have to remove that piece to see what's rattling up there. I can stop it by putting my hand on the headliner or on the map lights.srellim234 wrote:Thanks for the tips. I completely cleaned out the CD storage area in the dash and the glove compartment, but I didn't take the wife's sunglasses out of the overhead. I'll try that before I wind up making an unnecessary trip to the dealer.
That almost sounds obscene.CodeRed wrote:I get a rattle when my electronic toll thingey (sunpass) comes unsuctioncupped.
YAY!! I'm glad it was a simple fix. When I noticed my wife's glasses caused that problem in our Versa, I bought her a lens cloth to keep up there. It pads the glasses so they don't rattle, and she can use it for a quick wipe to clean them.srellim234 wrote:Took out my wife's sunglasses and the rattle stopped. I could have sworn that rattle was coming from the dash, but I guess not.
Thanks, everyone!
Just like several people above have found out, 99% of the rattles you will hear are items in the car somewhere (sunglasses, pens, CD cases, coins, etc.) Before you go taking the dash appart, check around really well.jeranne wrote:Well, I also have an annoying rattle. I have an automatique Versa and everytime I am at a stop there is an annoying rattleling sound comming from the front right side!!! Any one have any suggestions?
