Rattle on Start?

I have a 2008 SL AWD 21.5k miles (Rogue, obviously) and just recently (within the last week) it has started to rattle? when I start it. It first happened last Sunday and the noise was very distict. My husband and I looked at each other like "Did that REALLY just come from my car?" Now the rattle is more subtle and only happens right after I start it (for about 15 seconds tops and not continuously) and usually only if my car has been sitting for awhile.

Is this happening to anyone else?!

It is NOT the same rattle that the CVT makes.

I'm going to try to record it and post it. Might not be until Saturday though.

A mechanic at my work suggested that it might be the cover? on the catalytic converters? He said his was just spot-welded on on his Jeep and one of the welds broke. He didn't look at mine though.
