rattle noise

ok heres the deal. i am looking to buy a 240 sx ,but it has a rattle coming from the front of the engine around the timing chain area. does any one know any thing about this noise? has it happened to any of you? if some one does know then is it easy and or cheap to fix? email me at [email protected] for a fats answer, or just resopnd. im suposed to buy it friday.

oh and its got a dohc motor.

its the timing chain. it is a very common problem w/ all 240's esspecially after about 70k miles. if you search for it you will find a lot of info about it and whether or not you need to worry about it.
