rattle in dash or seat

I have a 09 versa, I have 2800 miles on it and I just started to get a rattle. I sounds like it is comming from the dash behind the glove box. I first took everything out of the glove box and it made no difference. I then took my fist and made the dash vibrate to thumping it and could not make it repeate. It only does it when going over a road that creats a vibration. I then found that if I thumped the seat I could make the noise but after sitting in the seat and trying it again it has sofened. I read that there was a problem in the seat where it extends back. Any one had this problem before?

Thanks I did a search and there did not seem to be any real answers. My rattle sounds like it is coming from under the dash or door by the glove box. But when I thumped the seat it made the vibration rattle. Now after playing with the seat I can not make it and when driving it still rattles so I guess that was not it. I have a set time to take it into the dealer but I know how many of these things go. The spend half an hour looking and do some little thing and call it good.

I had that same rattle as well but it stopped on its own. I then had a door rattle but again, it went away. Now I have one coming from the rear of my car but I'm almost positive it's the bottom of the license plate lightly tapping against the hatch. I need to put a piece of foam tape between the plate and the car to be sure.

I took the glove box out and felt all around the inside of the dash area could not find anythign, the trim pc that bridges from the dash to the little window seems to be a bit loose. It could be that rattling if the vibration is right. It seems to be not when you hit a bump but when the car vibrates on the road just right.
