I hate to be so mean, but if the Macco job looks good from 2 feet away, your job is worse because it looks bad from all distances you took pictures of. If you're going to rattle can it, do it the right way, or get it done at a paint shop. Thumbs down for a bad job well done.

I say get some kind of aero so it looks a little more aggressive.

Personally, I would have bought a paint gun and used it, I'm sure you would have been much more satisfied with the result. But it really doesn't look that bad.

You could probably make it look better by doing a little wetsanding, a spraying another coat on with a gun.

Why in the hell wouldn't you just rattle can the bumper and hood white?! It already had shiny paint! Now it looks terrible!

And I think NICO club should renamed FBRCCO club for

Flat Black Rattle Canned Cars club.

Seriously.

Yeah, I was going to say that, but he can't really do anything about it now.

But you're still cool in my book if you have that Z and that 510.

Did you read what I typed?Do you like it?Because if you do, who cares what we think. The MACCO job looked alot better than whatever atrocity you have just bestowed upon your vehicle. As pictured the car looked very clean with the exception of the hood and bumper. Now you have the paint job of every other JDM tyte drifter...What exactly was wrong with the paint before hand? Runs? Dry spray? Orange peal?

yes i liked it better rattle canned. again, it just looks good from 2 ft away as i try to get it to look decent with the crappy offwhite MACCO paint.

before it was just MACCO paint over the original forest green color.no sanding of original color, no primer either. chipping everywhere, oversprayed everywhere, jams are even worse, scratches and dents everywhere.

so to say the least i did a lot of body work before i rattle canned it.turned out a lot better than i expected as i've seen worse flat black (mine's satin black) the hood looks like that because its a large area to paint so it's a given to have spotty areas.

though i wish i had pics of the before pic up close

wow everybodys being so damn hard on this guy. in the before pics it looks like the macco job was really good. by just looking at that picture id say id rather drive around with the white and unmatched black hood and bumper. but the macco job probably did look like crap. you just cant tell in the picture. and i wouldnt have painted it satin black. its becoming to popular. plus it doesnt even look that good canned. look at teddys car. thats a unbeleivable canned job. you just have to pick the right color. satin black always shows glossy spots and flat spots. but anyway atleast you did what you wanted and it looks decent. i just think i different color wouldve been better. everyone makes mistakes guys. i painted mine white about a month ago and now i would give anything to go back and paint it a dark green. atleast if you feel like going back you only spend like $50 on paint. i definetly cant at $500.

Hmm I liked it better before, just needed a front end respray. I don't like it, its kinda like dumping a really hot girl with an annoying voice for a fat chick, you just went down the ladder of improvement.
