Then that's why you think it's crappy.zach-Ka wrote:Thats pretty crappy, I have never seen a MACCO paint job in person nor have I ever even seen a MACCO shop.Did you re-spray the jams too? And what color you gonna do it in?
Flat black, satin black. They're both the same.ztommyx wrote:actually it's satin black.
was one of my choice of color minus the flake...zach-Ka wrote:I think midnight blue with the tinniest bit of flake and a lip would make your car look NOICE
not really, i'm planning to wet sand and let them have it.all they need to do is mask, prep and paintJadesr20det wrote:So basically you created more work for whoever is going to paint your car in the future ......BTW that looks like "gloss" black from wally world not "satin".....rattle can paint jobs.......... jesus
i'd like to see teddy's car up close...i bet it's just one of those rattle can job as wellFolkertSX wrote:wow everybodys being so damn hard on this guy. in the before pics it looks like the macco job was really good. by just looking at that picture id say id rather drive around with the white and unmatched black hood and bumper. but the macco job probably did look like crap. you just cant tell in the picture. and i wouldnt have painted it satin black. its becoming to popular. plus it doesnt even look that good canned. look at teddys car. thats a unbeleivable canned job. you just have to pick the right color. satin black always shows glossy spots and flat spots. but anyway atleast you did what you wanted and it looks decent. i just think i different color wouldve been better. everyone makes mistakes guys. i painted mine white about a month ago and now i would give anything to go back and paint it a dark green. atleast if you feel like going back you only spend like $50 on paint. i definetly cant at $500.
Orly aside from this crap job what else have you painted yourself?ztommyx wrote:
