rattle behind the passenger dash

I have a strange rattle coming from "I think" behind the passenger dash. It happens at cruising speed and I think it happens when the throttle is slightly depressed. It will not happen when the car is in neutral. I have pulled all the trim and electronics from the center console and the glove box to no avail... please help!

I have the exact same thing and have torn it apart several times to no avail!

I did the same with a squeak only to find out it was under the hood. There is a wiring harness that mounts on two threaded posts near the top of the firewall. The nuts had backed off allowing it to move and squeak.

Mlinderman, did you get yours fixed yet? Any other ideas?

gone round and round.... i am 95% confident it has to do witht he a/c but can't figure out how to fix it.
