rattaling noise

hey i got a problem with my sr20det in my s14. when i pass i think about 4000 rpm, i start to hear something rattaling or like clicking noise. i was wondering if anyone knows what it is.

oh yea and also for more information. my car doesn't seem more powerful as it was before i heard all that noise. can anyone give me some idea of what it is?

are you sure that's not a rod knock your hearing? where is the sound coming from?

You've got to be more specific to narrow it down.

Common on the 240SX are catalytic converter heat shield and timing chain...that's about the most common rattling noises
