Rate your dealer: how do they do?

Well, we all know I have had my share of "issues" with my car being the first into production. But my dealer has gone beyond the call of duty! I have a problem, they "squeeze" me in as quick as they can.

The dealer who sold me my car (Ferman Nissan of New Port Richey) is great. But since buying the car I've moved and there is a closer dealer near me (Ferman Nissan of Tampa). They are awesome. Had me in and out quickly in 2 trips to correct my steering klunk. It was 2 trips because on the first one they figured out what it was and ordered the part. The second trip was to actually install the part which they did in about 2 hours.

NorthTown Nissan here in Austin, their service center is awesome. I give them a 9 out of 10.

But there sales department I give them a 3 out of 10.

Sheehy Nissan of Manassas internet sale team is awsome 10 out of 10. Their Parts and Service dept. are top notch 10/10.

I drive 50 mile one way to get my car serviced by them because they are the #1 dealer in the Mid Atlantic.

I have another dealer 4 mile up the road from my house and I don't trust their workmanship. So i do the extra drive for the best!

Around the Pittsburgh area, based on shopping experience alone:

West Hills Nissan - Largest Nissan dealer I've been to in the area (personal impression), friendly staff, but seemed to have really high prices. Did not take me seriously when I told them my budget; seemed to have lost interest after that.

Pittsburgh East Nissan - Internet manager was friendly enough, but their price for a CPO Versa was ridiculous. Not willing to negotiate, and I left quite exasperated. Luckily I resisted because I found a much better deal after that.

John Sisson Nissan - Although the sales person did not seem to enthusiastic in selling me the car when I test drove, everything after that was pleasant. I did not feel pressured/intimidated at all during the negotiation process and it was surprisingly short - I gave a reasonable price and they accepted. They have some perks like free state inspections, collection/delivery for servicing, free 1st dent removal and detailing, etc. I'm pretty satisfied with my experience with them and would recommend them to any of my friends looking for a Nissan

The buying experience from Bob Howard (OKC) was pleasant, and a good price. They were a little slow to diagnose the steering clunk issue, but once they did, they took good care of me.

I have had some minor warranty work done at Hudiburg Nissan. Great service dept, and a good courtesy ride system.

RendezVous Nissan, Hawkesbury -- great to deal with -- worth the 2 hour drive to buy from them.

417 Nissan -- patient and seem to know what they are doing

Walkley Nissan -- obnoxious and rude

fwiw, I get most my labour done from a mechanic friend but for "bigger stuff" go to 417
