looking for a write up or a few helpful tips on the install, I know that something has to be cut/trimed to make it work

thanks for the help, oh and I have the tomei ras (if that makes any difference)

hey thanks positron this does help out bunch but Im still a bit confused about the "small bracket" and what that even is exactly does it come with the tomei kit?and about the "hole" that needs to be entarged do they mean the square section in the sheet metal or the actual hole inside the square?

The hole is the one in the sheetmetal like you said and as far as the bracket goes if it is the same one as on the S13 SR then it's already on the engine. I had to remove and shave mine like in this writeup zerothread?id=224734
