This morning in the parking lot of Trader Joe's, I park my car, walk in and buy stuff, then leave the store. As I'm approaching my car, is that?, wait.....no, it can't be?! Yes it's true they do exist! It was a Q45a. Couldn't resist shooting a short clip of said finding.

It's really rare in my area because drivers around here tend to drive newer vehicles.

In the clip, you'll see my car first:

I'm not sure about the "a" part but I see a lot of Q's in santa monica and westwood. Never paid attention to the active part though...

Funny... the last time I saw another Q was last week in the parking lot as I was leaving the pull-a-part. It was a beauty too. IPQ with faded to purple tint and pie pans spray painted with gold metallic spray paint. I guess he got the email about their two new Q arrivals that morning too. Hope he wasn't looking for a MAF or throttle body.

A well-maintained Active Q is an amazing beast.

So far ahead of its time....

If I was crazy rich I'd buy up and restore every active Q I could get my hands on.
