Rare non-Nissan sightings this morning

I'm pretty much a stay-at-home dad these days, taking care of the kids and thus we're protecting my wife's retirement. To fill some time and pay the grocery bill I work a couple of hours as a crossing guard for a local grade school. It's an intersection inside of a neighborhood, not on a major street.

This morning I had to check the newspaper to see what year this was. Over a 45 minute span I saw a 1970s Toyota Landcruiser (when they looked like Jeeps), a circa 1980 Volkswagen diesel Rabbit and a Ford Pinto. I didn't think any of the latter two were still operational!

I always forget that my iPhone is a camera.. never think of pulling it out to capture those great moments.
