i kinda hate it. on warmer days, i get cool air in my face then it all the sudden becomes hot so i end up just cranking the temp down to keep it constantly blowing.DoN_BLaZe34 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 27, 2017 8:04 amMy '14 has itM37xfan wrote:Interesting, I see that it has Forest Air. I have to agree with this statement. Also the color white is not my favorite, it just screams Hertz rental car lot sale. The M56 is a hard car to find in an upgraded color and with Sport options, I personally love a black interiori think most people looking for the M56 here want one with the sport package. that being said this one is nice but carmax is usually known for charging more than most places and they don't haggle.
Absolutely correct. CarMax is always at least a few hundred dollars higher on every car and they do NOT allow any negotiation over price. CarMax has a strict policy governing any car they place on their lot. I know all dealers claim this as well, but after buying 4 vehicles from different locations, I assure you that for CarMax it really is true. If they find anything that could cause trouble after the sale (engine knocks, poor suspension, etc.) they do not put the car on the lot.
I agree it's hard to find one locally, but there are plenty out there if you're willing to travel or have one shipped to you, which is where Carmax came into the picture for me. You have to pay the shipping costs even if you change your mind, but for me, after viewing the boat load of pictures and looking at the Carfax and other info, I made my decision to buy the 2012 M56x I looked at. Yeah you may pay a little more than a used car lot but like Lars said, they go over these cars pretty good, and you get the warranty coverage. When mine came in, it had a few scuff marks, the passenger door puddle light didn't work, and some of the letters on the driver's side sill plate were burned out. They took care of the scuff marks on site, and suggested that I go to a local Infiniti dealership to take care of the rest. They said that there are certain things that they will subcontract to the appropriate dealership if they can't or don't have the right tools or equipment, but it would take more turnaround time vs me just going directly to the dealership. They would cover the cost if need be...however, turns out these items were covered under the standard warranty, and it didn't cost Carmax anything. Going this route was a positive experience for me, and I was going to do it again when my wife wanted to trade her Mustang for an Acura RDX. The dealership was able to find her one so we went that route instead. Anyway, just my 2 cents.Larz wrote: ↑Mon Jun 26, 2017 7:12 pmI periodically search CarMax for Ms and I have seen many peeps pointing out how hard it is to find an M56. Currently, there is one in Texas that I was half-ready to buy, but I simply won't have a black interior. Dunno, why, but black interior has always put me off. Anyway, check this out - car is in Tx but they can send the car (by transport) to anywhere in the states, This M56 has under 40,000 miles and every possible option minus the rear seat theater but I'm not sure that was even offered after my model year.
Bear in mind that it quailfies for the MaxCare warranty which covers many many things Infiniti does not offer in their highest level extended warranty.
*** lest any panties get twisted, I am NOT affiliated with, nor am I in line for any compensation from CarMax, and further, they do not even know me.. I'm just a very satisfied 4-car purchaser from 3 of their stores.

Miles seem a bit high the mileage, but then again I haven't look at the market of an M56S since I bought mine about two years ago. Not a fan of the eBay grill that was placed on there, but that's an easy fix since you can get a brand new OEM Midnight grill for about $125 shipped. I see that the car has Bose speakers integrated in the seats which should make it a Deluxe package. Did they discountinue using the Japanese ashwood trim on the 2013 Deluxe equipped models?DubXSY51 wrote: ↑Tue Aug 08, 2017 10:08 amm56s Black on black, beautiful car~
