I was scrounging around the junk yard this weekend and I came across this gauge cluster and HUD in an unspecified Nissan. I've never seen one quite like it and I've searched google quite a lot and haven't found anything about it. There are no markings on it so I feel like it could be a third party product. But anyhow,

Does anyone know anything about this cluster? Any guesses if it will be a plug 'n play swap into a 240sx? Or better yet, any wiring diagrams so I can try to power it up and see if it even works?

PFVs

Thanks a lot,Scott

maybe a 200SX (S12)..??? They had digital clusters and the oil bar readout reminds of them. But the HUD reflector ??? Looks just like the 240sx one. Are you sure they go together?

iirc you'll need a speed sensor specific to the gauges. Its really nice when it goes into triple didgits, sucks that it only goes to 199 lol. Also you can switch between mph and kph. And the tach gets really trippy if you stare at it too long.

I know the old nx 1600's had one very, very similar, if not the same one.

You would need a signal converter since the max speedo is for a 6-cylinder car...

Then you would need a pin out of the back wires and you would have to swipe the harness from the max to make it work.

Then it would all be silly because the redlines and rev-ranges don't match at all. Also, your stock speed sensor signal would probably not work with it at all... You would need to mod the ECU for that.

Well thanks for the info. I have the connectors for it but I have no clue which wires do what. I really want to see if it even works. Does anyone know where a wiring diagram/pinout chart might be able to be found for it?

Thanks again,Scott

Was a 1+ year bump really necessary just to post a video that has nothing to do with a 240sx?

Anyways, it's a cool looking cluster none the less.
