While browsing Craigfind I came across a Datsun I was unfamiliar with. Its the Datsun F-10 also called Cherry in some markets. Intrigued I looked up more info on this car. This was datsuns first front wheel drive car. As the AD states it claimed MPG of 41 mpg highway and 29 city. Not too shabby for back in the 70's. The mpg may be the only reason to drive this car as the hatch is not so easy on the eyes. However the looks of the wagon could grow on me.

For only $1977 this running, driving, and titled Datsun could be yours.

Tempted Greg?

LOL, I remember when they were new. Even drove one. Not really rare, just not one of Datsun's better efforts. Tinny, small , and looks challenged... Ok ugly. 0-60 was measured with a sundial. It did get great gas mileage but you wouldn't want to be in an accident while in one.

So a bunch of these have survived from '77? I assumed they faded into extinction from rust, car crushers, and lack of interest in it to restore.

You don't want to get in an accident in any old Datsun. Why do you think most people modify them?
To get the hell out of the way of people who aren't paying attention on the road.

I'm not sure that either the front or back looks bad. I sort of like both. They just don't match each other. And while I like the hatch, I'm not sure what kind of car it WOULD match.
