RANTING about my car

well to put it mildly i am past the point of upset about this. i bought my 240 january 4th.. i have had the sr dream for about 4 years and i finally got the funds to do it. A local shop said they would help me out with the swap for cheap. they went and got the motor for me from Atlanta. I told them to go get a red top, while they were there they only had black tops, so no big deal. i asked the mechanic (supposed) if they harness was cut (of course we all know how that goes) he told me that is was NOT cut between 7-9 times while on the phone and that he was "IMPRESSED" with the motor. Well when i get to see the motor that night the harness is cut, the fan is broken, the motor mounts are shot, the dump pipe is rusted to hell and back, etc etc anyway so i gave them my car on april 16th. with a whole car full of parts, greddy front mount, greddy titanium exhaust, greddy bov, etc etc etc.... my car sat in the shop until August with nothing done to it. they pulled the motor out that was it. well i had to spend 300+ dollars to get a new harness, 250 on motor mounts and mounting brackets, went ahead and got dual flexlight fans instead of fixing the fans. i had to get a MAF, Ignitor, ALL the hoses...plus MY CAR IS STILL NOT DONE. not too mention i went to the shop the other day to find my 700 dollar brand new greddy spec V front mount with a HUGE 6" dent in it.(of course no one knows what happened to it or where that dent came from, did my trunk try to eat it?). WTF! i seriously almost killed them. what the hell can i do. i have decided to pull the car out of the shop and me and some buddies are going to do iti know this is a long story but i thought i should vent on here otherwise there is no telling what i might do. i have been trying to get this car for almost 5 years and i have all the stuff, but it is just an $8000.00 paperweight right now!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

Sad stuff man... I don't know what else to say. Sounds to me like a visit to an attorney is in order.

I'd let the shop owner know that you intend legal action. Get ALL your $ back, and get your car outta there.

You're gonna always wonder if they did a good job from here on out.
