ok, I have just about had it with those stupid black plastic clip things in the trunk of a 240. I was trying to mess with my power antenna today, and I had to take off 4 of them, and 3 of those got broken. I think that brings the total now to about 60% of them, MISSING OUT OF MY TRUNK!! I love the little empty holes all over the place. I had one that wouldn't go back in, I would push it in place and it would fall back out. I held it next to another one that worked fine and I couldn't tell a single difference. I am guessing 12 years has played a little role in degrading these or whatever. They are so damn brittle! Probably the most fragile piece in the car./rant

ah yes and they always seem to get lost, and never go in right once you take them out once... I accepted my defeat by them a long time ago.

yup they always break. im pretty sure you can buy new ones from the dealer but it should cost a fortune.

i gave up a while ago also. everytim ei take them out i have to break a couple. plastic gets old and hard =/. actually i think nissan just went ghetto on it since its a cheap production car.

SO what...just go to the dealer and grab some new shiny ones. No biggie. THey broke on me when I took them out too.

ya, lol, I guess it isn't one of the most crucial parts to have break on you. It is just a sense of suprise and frustration I get when they shatter in you hand with a light tug .
