Picked up a stock auto 89 hatch.. Zero Rust, straight body, fair paint, never been wrecked.

Day one.. gutted engine bay all the way down ready for a fresh coat of the factory gray paint





Day two.. Drilled holes for clutch slave.. tore out all the auto shifter and anything associated with the 5 speed swap



Car goes to paint shop thursday (hopefully no snow lol) and sprayed Saturday morning. Hopefully we can drop motor in Sunday, if not next thursday

Picked up a brand new Corbeau seat for 200 bucks, should be nice to keep my fat a** planted rather than my worn to piss stocker

Got the car back from the paint shop. Had the engine bay stripped, frame rails coated with rock guard and engine bay painted base clear of oem gray paint, looks sick.

Got a 14in fan and some wiring...Ordered:J30 Front calipers, no oem rotors and padsConversion hubs front and rear with my awesome discount couponR32 4.30 VLSD and AxlesS14 rear rotors for 5 lugR32 GTR wheels (thanks carl )

As soon as I get my harness back (sunday-ish?) I'll be able to fire the car up and drive it.

Once the car is up and running well, get the five lug done then some Tanabe Sustec Pro coilovers.

You should of went for the 1 sided IC.It would of cut down on your IC piping a lot.But it looks good either way.

Why don't you see if you could wrap your cold pipe or make a heat shield, so that the hot air off the Rad and Exhaust manifold can't get to it.
